I shot him with a tommy. It was broad daylight, and he died. No witnesses, except for one person who was in a car. I tried shooting at him but the car was way too fast. I am trying to hide the body but there’s no place in sight. I am in Harlem, it smells like cooked fish. I can hear the construction machines.

The next day…

“Why did you shoot him?” Said the police officer across a long table. The blocked walls with no windows were black. I'm not liking this intimidation room.

I spat in the officers face. The officer was a dark skin fat guy.

“Billy, I have two children and a wife” said the officer.

“Yeah officer, me too and that's the reason I shot him” said Billy.

“You’re not giving me the whole truth here Billy. If this guy did something to you that can take time off your sentence and maybe even let you free” said the officer.

I felt like he is lying to me, I don't think this guy is a truthful person. This dude looks familiar and anyone besides family that is familiar, lied to me in some way. This dude has a lot of facial hair. I recognizes all this facial hair and his big nose from the block where I used to chill. The days when drug dealing was how everyone made money. It was right next to the liquor store. Maybe his name would remind me of who he is.

“Officer what is your name” said Billy ?

“That's thats not important right now” said the officer.

Yeah now I know this guy is hiding something since he is stuttering.

“Officer do you know me from anywhere” said Billy.
