Jiselle Williams October,24,2019 JAY’S STORY One day, I was on my way to the store and I was getting some snacks. There was a strange lady and she came up to me and said, “Meet me here : 117 and Amsterdam.” I thought to myself, “Isn’t that where the mall is?” So, I went back to my house and then I went out the door. My mom asked, “Where are you going, young lady?!” I was going to tell her the truth, but I thought a little white lie won’t hurt. I told her I was going to the mall with my friends. She said, “Ok.” So I left my house and I went back out. Two minutes later, I was on 5th Avenue. I was almost there. Three minutes later, I was on Madison Avenue. Only one more block. Finally, I was there. I left my bike outside. I walked in. I said, “Hello, Is anyone here?” so many times and then I heard a strange noise.
There once was a cat. He once got kicked by a man named Paul because Paul didn’t like the cat’s eggs. The eggs were warm because the refrigerator broke. The fridge was not broken. It was pretending to be broken because it wanted to sleep more.
“That’s mean,” said the cat. “What aren’t you cooling down my eggs?”
“Because I’m broke,” said the fridge.
Paul looks at the back of the refrigerator. “It is not broken. It is just a lazy refrigerator.”
Paul looks up on the computer, can refrigerators lie?
In big read text: YES!
Paul and the cat beat up the refrigerator. They are spitting on the refridgearro who is screaming AHHHHHHH. THey buy a new one and that one is more efficient.
An object that I had in my life that is really important to me is my first phone that i ever got. A pretty decent sized phone nothing all that special not as advanced as iphones nowddays
I remember it being in the third grade I kept begging my mom for a phone.
I remember the day when I first received the phone I was 8 or 9. I was ready to go home after a long day in a soccer game. While waiting for my mom I can recall that it took a while for my mom to come. She eventually came. So it was a normal day. I asked if she had any money cause I wanted to have a snack. She said that she left it at home. But she did say that she had a surprise. So after I went home and she gave me the surprise which was the phone.I was so happy since this was a first ever for me. I said ‘’THANK YOU MOM’’.
The emotional significance is that I was really grateful for how my parents work so hard for me.
Now that certain object I can’t tell where it’s at but I know it’s far far away from me.
It was a rectangular box with a cd tray and power button it made a buzzing noise when it was turned on, the cords and wires were all connected to the box, in the back of course
It was a sunny day and my dad told me to put on my jeans and shoes. He wouldn’t tell me where we were going. We walked for what seemed like hours. Finally we saw my dads friend he was carrying a weird silver box, which I didn’t know at the time was the pc. We walked back to our house in the projects(I didn’t know this at the time either)it was really sunny and I was glad when I changed out of those annoying jeans they were like wearing 100 rubber bands. My dad's friend hooked it to this silver square I didn’t know he was carrying(most likely because I was transfixed on the big box). My eldest sister showed how to play games and what they were and that was the beginning for my love of games. I will never forget that day. But as all things come to an end so did the pc. But as the middle had taught me to imagine things broken and cherish those moments is i simply smiled, remembering all those hours of games and research. And realizing that it was more used then my shirts. I smiled even more. One day I also met two kids who also played pc. I found out later that their names were Eric and Isaiah. They eventually became my best friends. We were like brothers to each other. Our parents eventually realized that and became friends too, well sorta. Eventually another kid joined but all he did was make fun of everyone and- that's a story for another day.
